École Saint-Vincent students shake their groove thing

Students, teachers, and staff along with parents and care givers at École Saint-Vincent capped off education week focusing on an area of education that is not only important but fun often great fun -- physical eduction.

The students got the opportunity to work up a sweat and shake their groove things while being introduced to the hottest fitness craze in Canada at the moment … Zumba.

Sturgeon Falls instructor Melissa Rainville, who has been teaching Zumba for a just a year and a half, says it is paramount to engage students in physical activity and dancing is one more effective tool to get kids moving.
