Rolly Gagnon pleaded guilty to cutting six white pine trees from Crown land in Boulter Township near Powassan. The trees have been forfeited to the Crown.

In January 2010, Gagnon cut the trees without the necessary licence and moved most of the wood to his private property which was nearby. An anonymous complaint alerted the Ministry of Natural Resources to the activity.
