Friends of La Vase Portages present canoe stories Reminder

Friends of La Vase Portages are hosting an evening of canoeing stories and photography at Nipissing University coming up Friday evening, April 23. One of the featured presentations will be from Clive Rennie recounting his experiences on the Coppermine River in Canada's Northwest Territories.

Friend of La Vase Chair Fred McNutt will also be sharing an update on what has happened on the La Vase Portages over the last year and what the plans are looking ahead to the next year. Local award winning photographer Darren Makarenko will also be showing some of his outstanding Northern Ontario images.
