Wj Volleyball Club and Canadore Students Representative Council will be hosting a Ladies Volleyball Charity Tournament. It will be held this Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Canadore College Gymnasium. All proceeds will be going to Children in Athletics.
Wj says, "Supporting children and raising awareness for special efforts done in local communities is something we try to do our part with".
"This volleyball tournament is an excellent opportunity for different groups of people to get together and have a fun time, while supporting a special cause".
The canteen will provide: hot + cold meals, fresh fruit + veggies, snacks and drinks ~ for players and spectators.
Spencer Fry, Vice President External, says, "It is important for CSRC to support local charities, especially when all the funds stay in the community and surrounding area."
This is CSRC's second charity volleyball tournament done this year with the Wj Volleyball Club and the two organizations plan to do many more in the future.
