Papineau-Cameron Township – Mattawa OPP is currently investigating the theft of tires from a local business in Papineau-Cameron Township.

On Sunday, April 4, 2010, at approximately 10:00 p.m., 20 tires were stolen from GIN-COR business located on Highway 17 in Papineau-CameronTownship. The culprits gained entry into the compound yard by cutting open the chain to a gate. Once inside, they dug holes on both sides of the fence which was utilized to pass the tires through. It is believed they were driving a truck or van towing a trailer.

Taken from the property were:

12 Michelin  XDN2 - 11R225 - taken from Black 2009 Western Star;

4 Michelin  XDN2 - 11R225 -  taken from Red  2009 Western Star;

4 BF Goodridge R287 - 11R225 – taken from Black 2009 Kenworth.
