Freezing rain warning..Freezing rain and ice pellets mixed at times with snow continues to fall across areas from Manitoulin across the Nickel Belt - Nipissing regions to near Earlton. The freezing precipitation will change over to snow this afternoon except over to rain near North Bay as the low pressure area tracks northeast across lake Nipissing into Western Québec by this evening. Dangerous winter travelling conditions are on tap. Motorists should exercise extreme caution from low to at times nil visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow. Untreated surfaces in the freezing rain areas will be icy and slippery.

Expect travelling conditions to deteriorate early this morning across the district. Motorists should be prepared for hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travelling plans appropriately.
