Grammy award winner Peter Frampton to play Voyager Days

Mattawa Voyageur Days is pleased to announce the signing of Grammy award winner and multi platinum artist PETER FRAMPTON hitting the stage on Saturday July 24, 2010. “It is absolutely incredible that the festival will host such world renown and world class artists to our Region” says Jacques Begin Co-Chair Mattawa Voyageur Days. “The Saturday Rock Where the Rivers Meet line-up is now complete with David Wilcox noon, Barney Bental & The Legendary Hearts 2pm, Honeymoon Suite 4pm, Rough Trade 7pm, Haywire 8:30pm and Peter Frampton 10:45pm.” Jesse Ferrell, Aaron Pritchett and Doc Walker highlight Friday’s New Country. Enjoy Sunday afternoon with top recording Bluegrass artists from 1 – 4pm. And there is still more to come as the Committee is working on the Sunday night festival closing line-up.

Wristbands are on sale at area Caisse Populaire and Scotiabanks. They are also available at the Mattawa Travel Information Centre 744 0222.

“Weekend wristbands will most certainly sell-out as they have for the past 2 years, so please do not delay in getting yours” says Jacques Begin Co-Chair Mattawa Voyageur Days.

“The Committee is also working diligently on what will be just an incredible total festival package with more announcements to come”. There is a great deal of very special activities and events held all weekend throughout the community during the festival.

Mattawa Voyageur Days was recently named to the TOP100 Festivals and Events in Ontario
for 2010.

Mattawa Voyageur Days dates are July 22 – 25, 2010.
