City man has court date after taking matters into his own hands

On the 16th of March at approximately noon it is alleged that a man attended the home of another man within the city.

It is further alleged that this first man went to the home to collect money owed to him and when he didn’t get a response at the door he then went to the side of the home to attempt to start a motorcycle.

At this time the allegations are that the man who was inside the home came out with a shotgun and racked same.
Shortly after Cst. Matt Parker of the North Bay Police attended and arrested a suspect in relation to this alleged incident.

Mathieu LEBEAU 22 years old of Ursula St. is charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon (to whit a flick knife), Breach of Probation, Careless use of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

He is to appear in court on t he 3th of May.
