Annual Scrabble Challenge goes Saturday

The North Bay Literacy Council is hosting their 10th annual “SCRABBLE CHALLENGE” at Northgate Square (across from Roots) on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 9:00 am until 4 pm each day to raise awareness and promote literacy in the community.

Everyone is invited to come and play a game or two of SCRABBLE – just for the fun of it! There are many SCRABBLE boards to choose from or you can bring your own.

Local celebrities, community leaders and local media personalities will be participating so come out and watch, cheer or challenge!!

Saturday register at 9:30 am for the competitive tournament. Entry fee is $10. Prizes available.
