Afternoon fire causes $100,000 in damage

Reports indicate city fire crews were kept busy just after 12:30 Friday afternoon as they battled a structure fire on Lakeside Drive.. Officials say the fire started in the crawl space and spread.

Officials say the fire started in the crawl space and spread.

No one was home at the time but reports indicate it will be at least 2 to 3 months before anyone will be to live in the home.

Damages are pegged at about the $100,000 mark.
