The mall was gushing with love Sunday as ten couples declared their eternal love for each other by getting Married at the Mall.

The ever changing crowd witnessed ceremonies from traditional to quaint for couples that included retirees, serving members of the Canadian military, and even a television producer all while snacking on wedding cake and enjoying the music stylings of Jason Brock.

For CogecoTV producer David McSherry and his bride Stacy Vanschooneveld (pictured) getting married on Valentine’s Day at the mall offered them the opportunity to share their special occasion with their loved ones with very little planning or notice.

“Well actually we had planned to go away this year to get married but our families wanted to be involved,” says McSherry.

“They were shocked at first but then they warmed up to it and were really, really excited,” says Vanschooneveld.

“Because originally they weren't going to be able to come with us away so they are happy to be here.”
