Travelodge Airport Seymour North Bay, General Manager Angel Manner, presented Susan Plamondon, Fundraising Coordinator and Barbara Spencer, Manager of North Bay & District Canadian Cancer Society with $1,000.00 toward the 10th Annual Relay for Life 2010 which will take place June 4 & 5th.

Last year Travelodge Airport North Bay kicked off with their Think Pink Rooms. For each time the pink room was rented by guests a donation would go to the local Relay for Life campaign for research.

Angel Manner, General Manager, submitted to Travelodge Canada, for the Charity Select program, in the beginning of 2009 with her selection and support of one charity within the local community through volunteering and/or fundraising activities. Angel had selected the Relay for Life, Canadian Cancer Society. Charity Select is our way of giving back to the many communities across Canada where we operate. Our hotel owners and staff are committed to being good corporate citizens and strong community members. Angel Manners was notified that our submission won the quarterly draw and she would receive $1,000.00 to go to this years Relay for Life ... it was with great pride that Travelodge Airport Seymour North Bay was drawn from the hundred of submissions and this was shared with the staff at the Canadian Cancer Society Office.

"We're really excited to be the recipient of the donation, towards this years goal" says Susan Plamondon, Fundraising Coordinator, Canadian Cancer society - North Bay. "This will translate into raising the important funds for our 10th Annual Relay."

"We are always looking to help our community and we recognize the Canadian Cancer Society as an important organization working at making Cancer History." says Angel Manner, General manager Travelodge Airport North Bay. "We will be expanding our Pink Room program in 2010. Our Corporate Gift allows our hotel the opportunity to give back to friends and families.."
