Franco-Nord names construction company for new school build

Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord has chosen Evans Bertrand Hill Wheeler Inc. for the construction of its new Junior Kindergarten to Grade Six elementary school in North Bay. The new school will replace École St-Paul and École Ste-Anne, North Bay, which have been declared prohibitive to repair. The new school is scheduled to open in September 2012.

Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord operates 17 Catholic French-language schools, fourteen elementary and 3 secondary. Over 3 300 students attend its schools which are situated in Astorville, Bonfield, Mattawa, North Bay, River Valley, Sturgeon Falls, Thorne, and Verner.
