The Domestic Violence Committee of Nipissing will be hosting a Conference and Awards Dinner in North Bay on February 24 & 25, 2010 at the Best Western Hotel, Lakeshore Drive, North Bay. Over 150 front line service providers, police officers and medical community participants from the District of Nipissing are expected to attend the conference that will focus on the global sex trade and self care for front line workers. The conference will feature a number of expert speakers (see attached profiles and agenda).

The awards dinner is being held on Wednesday February 24th at 7:45 p.m. and following dinner, Victor Malarek will give the keynote address. The award presentations will be held immediately after at 8:30p.m., when front line service providers from the Nipissing District will be presented with awards for their commitment and dedication to the service of those affected by domestic violence.
