Our volunteers will tell you that working with the dying is one of the most life affirming things you will ever do.

Near North Palliative Care Network needs volunteers to support clients in the North Bay General Hospital and outlying areas such as Powassan, Mattawa and West Nipissing, to provide respite, emotional support and compassionate care to clients and their families. Male volunteers are also required.

Other volunteer positions include Fund Development and Event/Conference Planning, or join our Board of Directors.

Hospice Client Volunteer Training begins the week of March 21, 2010.

Applications are due by February 28, 2010
