News Release

*******************

For over 110 years, The Salvation Army has been battling against one of our countries largest foes – hunger. Unfortunately it is a difficult road to overcome on our own.

The Salvation Army would like to extend our grateful thanks to Chippewa Secondary School, who has shown us, through an expression of love, how enthusiastic they are about ending hunger in our community. Chippewa Secondary School has developed a food drive that allows us to continue our Food Resource throughout the rest of the year. Since our Food Resource relies on food donations this is a great aid to The Salvation Army. Without help from volunteers like Chippewa Secondary School, The Salvation Army would not be able to help feed those in need in our community. Again we would like to extend our thanks to Chippewa Secondary School for 25 years of hard work and loyalty to The Salvation Army.

Tweedsmuir, Vincent Massey, E.W. Norman, Dr. MacDougall, Alliance , W.J. Fricker, and Ecole St. Paul have also been a great help in fighting the battle against hunger in our community. Therefore, The Salvation Army would also like to extend our thanks to those who have helped us help our community.
