The North Bay Snowmobile Club is pleased to announce that a large proportion of their 250 kilometres of snowmobile trails have been opened.

The 43 kilometre TOP A/D trail from Peninsula Road north to Tilden Lake is 'Open'.

The TOP D trail across Trout Lake from One Mile Bay to Birchaven Cove has been staked and is 'Open' as is the TOP A1 trail along the staked section of Four Mile Bay.

The TOP A2 trail along the full length of Trout Lake has not yet been staked and therefore is 'Closed'.

The rest of the Club's trails are still classified as 'Limited', which means trails are passable for marginal snowmobiling and extra caution is advised.

A102Q from NB308 easterly to Temiskaming is 'Closed' but should open in 7 - 10 days.

All three of the Club's Groomers and Drags have been working on the trails for the past 3 weeks.

One more good snowfall should be sufficient for all trails to be in top condition.
