In Search of La Vase Portages topic for next Canadian Club meeting

North Bay and District Canadian Club will hold a luncheon meeting on Wednesday January 13, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Zorba's Grill, 561 Lakeshore Drive.

The guest speaker will be North Bay councillor Christopher Mayne whose topic will be " In Search of La Vase Portages". As an avid canoeist and founding chair of the Friends of La Vase Portages, he is well qualified to discuss the history of the route, its current state and the challenges and opportunities for its future.

Members are encouraged to bring a guest to this meeting.
