Business deal ends in high risk take down

On the 29th of Dec. at approximately 7:30 PM it is alleged that two men attended outside of a North Bay residence and began speaking to a vehicle occupant about a business deal. It is alleged that the occupant became angry and grabbed a large knife from within the vehicle and threatened one of the men.

Fearing for their safety, both men left the area and called the North Bay Police.

Csts. Greg Dix as well as John Cook and Steve Sproule attended a North Bay residence and waited for the arrival of a the suspect. Once this materialized at 9 PM the suspect was arrested with a high risk take down.

Yves LEDUC 38 years old of Morland St. is charged with Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Uttering Threats. He is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
