Red ribbon auction caps off awareness week

The annual Red Ribbon Auction was a great way to cap off AIDS Awareness week for the clients, staff and board members North Bay Area AIDS Committee.

Although the final total is not in the committee is all smiles with the initial tally of over $6,000.

Funds from the event go directly to the clients for things like nutritional supplements (ensure, vitamins), food vouchers and hygiene kits to help the agency make a difficult situation just a little bit easier for people living with HIV/AIDS.

The agency continues year round to raise funds for education and awareness of HIV/AIDS, as well as counselling and a full range of other services.
