The North Bay Nordic Ski Club is hosting their annual Open House on Sunday, December 6th, 2009 between 2 and 4 p.m.

Please join us for a fun afternoon where you can meet with other friendly skiers and Club Members. With luck, there may be enough snow for a game of ski-soccer, so bring your skis!

The Ladies’ Changeroom has received a brand new look this year, compliments of North Bay’s Bay Builders. You will be amazed at the new look; new colors, a handicap-accessible toilet stall, mirrors, new shelving and flooring, all displaying the beautiful craftsmanship of Bay Builders. Nicole Neff, Principal of Bay Builders, will also be at the Open House, along with councillor Dave Mendecino, for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

For the kids (of all ages), Santa will be on hand with welcome treats. Healthy snacks, not-so healthy Christmas baking and steaming hot chocolate will be waiting and the Nordic Christmas tree will be looking for help to create a decoration to adorn its’ aging figure. There will be raffles and prizes and the popular North Bay Nordic toques will be available for purchase.

This will be the last day to purchase early-bird memberships and most of the current Board of Directors will be present, to provide information on the Jackrabbit Program, Track Attack, Development Team, Club Races, Instruction and more. We hope to see you there!
