Algonquine Ave. man charged with assault with a weapon

October 25, at 9:45 PM a resident on Terrace Lawn Drive observed someone going through his vehicle, while a Female stood at the end his driveway. He confronted both and while the male walked away, he grabbed the female by the coat. It is alleged that the male returned, took a folding knife out of his girlfriends coat pocket and threatened the victim with the knife to unhand his girlfriend.

On November 16th, a suspect was arrested for this alleged offence, on an arrest warrant, by Cst. Hughes and held for a Bail hearing Nov 17th.

Thirty-year-old Patrick Young, of Algonquin Avenue is charged with Attempt Theft, Weapons Dangerous, and Assault with a Weapon.
