Park St. man charged with arson

On the 13th of Nov. it is alleged that a male left a burning cigarette inside his jacket within a North Bay home.

It is further alleged that this same individual became aware of this incident and removed his jacket and left it burning while leaving the home.

Another resident became aware of this situation when a home smoke alarm went off and contacted the North Bay Fire Department and Police Service.

Later that day Cst. Seth Dinsmore of this Service arrested a suspect in relation to this incident.

Chris HENDRY 29 years old of Park St. is charged with Arson and was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
