The Health Unit has now expanded the H1N1 vaccine clinics to include two new groups: anyone under 19 years of age to six months of age and those 65 years of age and older with underlying medical problems, effective 12 noon today.

This announcement opens up the clinics scheduled for today and tomorrow to the new groups.

• Friday, November 13 in North Bay from 9 am to 4 pm at Memorial Gardens on Chippewa Street

• Saturday, November 14 in Sundridge from 12 to 4 pm, at the SSJ Arena

• Saturday, November 14 in Parry Sound from 12 to 5 pm at the vacant Giant Tiger on Williams Street

The priority groups now include:

• Anyone over 6 months of age with chronic conditions

• Pregnant women

• Children from 6 months to 19 years of age

• First Nations people

• Health care workers

• Household contacts of infants under 6 months of age

• Household contacts and care providers of persons who cannot be immunized or may not respond to vaccines.
