As part of Crime Prevention Week the North Bay Police Service would like to caution the public with various tips concerning the Lock It or Lose It campaign.

Always roll up your vehicle windows, lock doors and pocked keys.

Never leave your vehicle unattended while it is running.

Never leave your vehicle keys in plain view or in an accessible area.

Always park your vehicle in well lit areas.

Give only your ignition key to a parking lot attendant and keep all other keys with you.

In light of the coming Christmas season and the shopping that will accompany it follow, it is particularly important to hide all packages in an area of your vehicle that is not readily seen.
