North Bay Red Cross
News Release

********************

On November 2nd the North Bay Red Cross launched the 2nd Annual Poinsettia Campaign. Logistics are already underway to ensure the smooth delivery of hundreds of plants and baskets in the North Bay area on December 6th and 7th. Beautiful Holiday Poinsettias are available for purchase right up until November 30th at 4pm. There are two sizes of Poinsettias available, as well as, decorative holiday baskets and wreaths, or even Christmas cactus and cyclamen.

The Red Cross is also offering local businesses and individuals the opportunity to be part of our special sponsorship program - where plants are purchased and then donated to local seniors who are living in long-term care facilities. So often this population is overlooked in the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season; this is a magnificent way to brighten someone's day and add a little joy to their life.

Our mission is to help the most vulnerable of our community through programs such as Personal Disaster Services and Senior's Transportation, two programs which would not be possible without the funds raised during campaigns such as this. All proceeds from Poinsettia campaign stay local to help fund your local programs.

Poinsettias can be delivered to friends, family and coworkers. Free delivery by Red Cross Volunteers is available on December 6th and 7th for the North Bay area. Included with this email is a poster and order form for your convenience. To place your order please call 472-5760 or fax (495-1539) in your order form by 4pm on November 30th.
