Gallien appointed CSDNE Director of Education

Mr. Robert Poirier, Chairperson of Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSDNE), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Roch Gallien as Director of Education. Mr. Gallien will assume his new position on November 30th. The appointment was approved by the Board at its regular meeting of October 29, 2009.

“By recruiting Mr. Gallien, the Board secured the services of an experienced administrator with an excellent reputation within the Ontario education network”, said Mr. Poirier. “His expertise in personnel and project management, administration and strategic planning represents a major asset for our Board.” M. Gallien is “looking forward to joining a French Language Public School Board that is experiencing continual growth“.

Mr. Gallien is a Superintendant of Education of a French Language Public School Board where he is known as an energetic and dedicated manager with a keen sense of leadership based on teamwork, communications and openness. Mr. Gallien has been involved in the education field for the past twenty years and he is well known in the northern region. Mr. Gallien is a committed Francophone both at the community and provincial level.

The CSDNE is proud and pleased to welcome Mr. Roch Gallien as a new member of its team. “The education sector is facing major challenges, and our new Director of Education can count on our total support”, added Mr. Poirier.
