Police looking for stolen ATVs

North Bay OPP is presently investigating two separate incidents where All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) were stolen.

On September 16th, 2009, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., an ATV was taken from the rear of a pick up truck parked off the Forest Access Road located off of Highway 63 in French Township. The ATV is described as a 2008 Polaris HD500, red in color. The owner was fishing in a nearby lake and upon returning to his vehicle discovered his ATV stolen.

The second incident occurred sometime between September 30th and October 9th, 2009 in Notman Township located at the end of Sand Dam Road off of Highway 11N. The owner of the ATV had it chained and locked to a tree and upon returning to his camp discovered his 2003 Bombardier 500, red in color stolen.
