I am very disappointed with the decision of the Appellate court. After presenting fresh evidence that proved the only witness in my Contempt of Court hearing did not tell the truth and also, that the mediation agreement I prepared was not signed in my office, which would have constituted a separation agreement and the practise of law, Justices Macpherson and Juriansz decided to uphold the decision of Justice Hennessy.

Mediation agreements and separation agreements are very similar documents. When mediation is signed, it becomes a separation agreement. The mediation agreement presented in the contempt hearing had been signed by the witness and her husband, however, the Appellate court failed to recognize new evidence that proved it was not signed in my office and, therefore, I was not practicing law.

I fully intend to proceed to the Supreme Court of Canada to have this miscarriage of justice and wrongful conviction overturned.
