Be advised that we have been able to identify the
elderly woman found in Powassan this date.

She is being treated in hospital. Your assistance is appreciated. No further action is required.

Powassan OPP responded to a call of an elderly woman lying in a parking lot on Main Street in Powassan at 7 a.m. on this date. She has since been transported to the North Bay General Hospital by paramedics for medical treatment. She did not have any identification and police are seeking public’s assistance.

She is described as approximately
• 5’4” to 5’5”;
• 70 – 80 years of age;
• short curly white hair;
• blue eyes wearing silver rimmed glasses with blue and gold specks;
• a gold ring with a red ruby surrounded by a diamond flowered design on her right hand; and
• a gold ring with a red ruby on her left hand.
