Regina Street fire updated

One apartment is a complete write-off and 3 have received extensive smoke damage following an apartment fire at Regina Street Friday night.

Chief Fire Prevention Officer Randy Vezina says fire crews were dispatched around 9pm and when they arrived on scene the fire was fully involved and had breached the roof. The fire, although stubborn, was brought under control within about a half hour to 45 minutes.



Vezina says there were no human injuries, however, information on pets is still forthcoming.

Damage is pegged at $180,000.
