Search warrant results in charges

North Bay - On the 8TH of September 2009, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit and the North Bay Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a North Bay residence.

As a result, a quantity of Cannabis marihuana with a potential street value of over $85000.00 was seized. Two (2) persons were arrested and charged.

Charged and released via a Promise to Appear:

1.Richard NEIL (age 44 yrs) of North Bay.

Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act – Cannabis marihuana.

2.Pamela STEISS-NEIL (age 31 yrs) of North Bay.

Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act – Cannabis marihuana.
