Here is your chance to be part of 'Death Comes to Town' the Kids in the Hall (KITH) production filming right now in North Bay. On Wednesday September 9th the Kids are holding a 12-hour 'Community Day' and they want to use a thousand volunteer extras for background effect.

During a news conference at the corner of McIntyre and Ferguson Streets Tuesday, KITH star Bruce McCulloch described scene which takes place at Memorial Gardens on Chippewa Street where death battles a 600 pound shamed hockey star. He says the vision of the scene cannot be accomplished without the community. McCulloch also added that North Bay has been a great place to film the 8-part comedy and noted a number of benefits to shooting in the city including tax breaks and no traffic headaches.

Homeboy Scott Thompson also called on the public to come out and participate in the event all the while giving the media a small tongue in cheek glimpse of why folks don't want to miss out on all the fun.

Thompson went on to say if you want to get on board with the September 9th community day, email [email protected]. Once your attendance is confirmed at the Gardens, your name will be entered into the draws for some great door prizes

The production team reminds everyone the 12-hour day is open to every resident in North Bay and surrounding areas. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
