The Front Yard Gardens and My Favourite Garden Contest is in it's 18th year. We are very pleased that the Mayor has generously offered a keepsake Trophy for the top first place winners. The Society in turn offers a small cash
prize for the other placed winners.

The First Place winners of this year's Beautification Contest for 2009 are as follows and they will get a keepsake from the Mayor and a small cash reward from the Callander Horticultural Society.

Second Place winners of this year's Beautification Contest for 2009 are as follows:

The Third Place winners of this year's Beautification Contest for 2009 are as follows:

The Horticultural meeting will be held at the Callander Community Centre, Viewing Room, on September 16th at 7:00pm. We look forward to the presentation of the awards by the Mayor at that time.

We would be pleased if this notice could be added to your Community Events in print or on the Internet. The Beautification Contest will open again in May 2010. In 2010, the Beautification Committee has indicated that they plan to RELAUNCH this Beautification Contest in a new format . One idea is that Gardens can be nominated by members of the community and voting forms will be available at the Municipal Office and with the Callander Horticultural Society.
