On Friday August 21, North Bay Blooms presented lawyer Peter Rutland with the final Business Garden Award of 2009 for the wonderful display at his office on Main Street. The office has two bright, colourful gardens that are really noticeable on that commercial block. Staff are very proud of their garden display and photos of blooms from past years decorate the office interior. It has been a great year for the business garden contest and we thank Peter and all our fabulous award winners for keeping the environment in mind and beautifying North Bay.
North Bay Blooms would also like to thank the Chamber of Commerce, BayToday and Cogeco for their participation in the Business Garden Award program.
The last event of the season will be the Sunflower Growing Contest Finale to be held at Northgate Shopping Centre on September 19. We look forward to seeing how all the sunflowers turned out - prizes will be handed out to 4 different categories, so even if yours is not the tallest, you can still win!
