With the sun shining and a pond full of waterfowl Ash Creek Pottery was the perfect setting for the 6th Annual Artist's Garden show on Saturday in Callander.

The show featured demonstrations of wood turning, pottery making, jewellery fabrication, watercolour painting, as well as an opportunity for folks to talk with the twenty local artists and artisans about their work in a serene garden setting.

Pat Stamp, who hosted the event, says the day offered artists an opportunity to remind the public that local artisans are part of the local economy and that they produce superior goods. She also said it offered artists a chance to talk with one and other for inspiration and support and while helping the St. Andrew's Roof Fundraiser at the same time.
