Women charged following brawl

On the 28th of July at approximately 2 AM it is alleged that a fight took place between 2 women at a local bar.
The bouncers interceded and attempted to evict both parties. It is then further alleged that injuries were sustained by two males, one of them having been bitten on the arm and the other having been struck in the head with a beer bottle. As well, one of the women received a cut over the eye with a beer bottle. She received several stitches to close the wound.

Csts. Jason Long, Vince Corrente and Seth Dinsmore of the North Bay Police attended the scene and arrested two female suspects.

Both were kept in custody for a bail hearing.
