Franklin Street man charged with theft

On July 17th, it is alleged that a thief attended the office of the Legion on First Ave West and stole a wallet with a cash float from the office.

He was located a short time later, on his mountain bike, after disposing of the wallet, with the small quantity of cash on his person.

The suspect, 29-years-old Michael May, of Franklin Street is charged with theft under $5000.00.
