Three taken to hospital following collision on Hwy 11 S

Highway 11 South of Sundridge was tied up for several hours Wednesday after a motor vehicle collision.

OPP confirmed that two transports and two vehicles were involved in the accident that took place just after 11:30. OPP on the scene say that an SUV traveling north sideswiped the tractor trailer that was traveling south then hit another that tractor trailer. The fourth vehicle involved was behind the SUV sustained damage from flying debris.

Three people were taken to hospital in Huntsville with minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation and charges are pending.
