Car seized from stunt driver

Over the past weekend officers of the North Bay Police Service stopped a motorist who was seen spinning in circles in the middle of the intersection of McIntyre St. and Cassells St at approximately 3 AM. It is alleged that several pedestrians were in the vicinity.

A 42 year old male driver was charged with stunt driving and the man’s vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Our officers laid 90 other Provincial Offence charges over this same weekend including smoking in a motor vehicle while another person less than 16 years old was present.

The motoring public is reminded that area children are out of school and are playing in the community.
