The first official winner of the Business Garden Contest was announced by North Bay Blooms on July 3rd.

North Bay Blooms representatives Chris Mayne and Kathryn Takacs presented Tami Price-Fry of the Empire Living Centre with a certificate of recognition.

The property features many colourful planters line the McIntyre Street entrance offering a warm welcome to visitors, and the Worthington Street side of the property contains several garden areas with a wide variety of flowering plants, trees, gazebos, and a waterfall and goldfish pond.

“Clearly a lot of time and effort have gone into maintaining this garden oasis,” notes Mayne.

“Congratulations to Tami, the staff and residents of the Empire Living Centre.”

“Thanks also go to the Chamber of Commerce who have been busily scouring the city for business garden nominations.”

If you would like to nominate a business, please contact the Chamber at 472-8480 or [email protected]."
