Reports indicate that Fedeli, the father of Mayor Victor Fedeli, was out shopping Saturday evening at No Frills in the North Bay Mall when he had the sudden and fatal heart attack.

Fedeli, who was born in Sault Ste. Marie, was a family man first and always. He was also a successful businessman, and a councillor during the 1960s, 70s and early 80s. While on council Fedeli played a number of roles including Public Works Chairman where he oversaw the construction of the Main Street/Lakeshore Drive overpass constructed. He was also active with his church, the Knights of Columbus and the Davedi Club.

Hub Fedeli beloved husband of Lena Fedeli (nee Fava) in his 78th year. Loving father of Teresa Fedeli Rosenfield (Jack) of Montreal, Victor (Patty) and Peter (Elizabeth) all of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Anna and Simona Rosenfield of Montreal and Maggie Fedeli of North Bay. Dear brother of Emelia Pucher (Dan) of North Bay. Family receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home, Tuesday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Parish of St Rita Wednesday at 11 a.m. Entombment, All Saints Mausoleum.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
