Callander to launch trial transportation service

The Municipality of Callander will officially launch a Trial Transportation Service, starting Monday, July 6, 2009. With nine pick-up and drop-off points along the route the service will connect Callander and North Bay.
The Municipality of Callander will officially launch a Trial Transportation Service, starting Monday, July 6, 2009. With nine pick-up and drop-off points along the route the service will connect Callander and North Bay.

Initially, the Trial Transportation Service will operate four days per week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday for a total of eight trips per day (four trips to and four trips from Callander).

Mayor Hec Lavigne and members of council will host a ribbon cutting Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the bus shelter, located at the Artisan Mall, 980 Main St. North, Callander, followed by a and ceremonial ride.
