Sacred Heart School is hosting a special event, “Celebrating Sacred Heart through the Years 1951-2009”, on Monday, June 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All current and former students, parents, teaching and support staff, principals, school board personnel, trustees, and community members are invited to attend this gathering for the school community before the consolidation with St. Joseph School.
“With the construction of a new school on the horizon, this special event will commemorate and celebrate our storied past,” said Sacred Heart School Principal, Dan Seguin. “It is upon the foundation of our wonderful history that we will build our school of the future and to continue to nurture our students spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially. This is an exciting time of change for Sacred Heart and we hope that many people who have had a connection to our community, past and present, will come together on June 22 to remember our past and to celebrate our future as a school community.”
The event will feature a school walk, slideshow, photos on display and refreshments.
