Hey cyclists ... the rules of the road apply to you too!

The North Bay Police Service has recently investigated two collisions involving cyclists and motor vehicles. We are cautioning the cyclists to be aware that they are to follow the same rules as motorists and to stay off of the sidewalks.

In our two recent collisions, cyclists have been riding on the sidewalks and then crossing at an intersection in front of motor vehicles.
