Reports indicate that a Widdifield Station Road home was destroyed by fire late Thursday night.
Fire crews arrived on the scene just after 11pm where the dwelling was fully involved. Both residents escaped; however, a man did suffer slight injuries while trying to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation by Fire prevention officers.
