Upgrades to Memorial Gardens and airport announced

City Council has approved a motion Monday night that will see two new dressing rooms added to Memorial Gardens to accommodate the possibility of having both the Skyhawks and the Nipissing University Varsity team both playing at the arena on Chippewa.

Meanwhile, with the possibility of Jack Garland Airport becoming the main airport for G8 leaders to land during the 2010 G8 Summit in Huntsville, the City has announced the repaving of a 10,000-foot runway for North Bay’s airport.
