On the 23rd of May a vehicle was being driven from onto Main St. from Park St. in Callander. At this time it is alleged that a vehicle was backing out and struck the other vehicle.

A woman exited her car and apologized for the accident and said she would pay and not to call the insurance. She then advised that she would move her car out of the way. She got in and quickly sped off without leaving any information. She also gave a false phone number and what is believed to be a false name.

This suspect vehicle is described as a light blue Caravan with damage to the rear and also has the back window missing.

The suspect is described as female white, 50 to 60 years old, 5’7, thin, and short black wavy hair.
