On Saturday the 9th of May two officers of the North Bay Police Service flew out to Vancouver to pick up a prisoner that was being held in the Surrey detention centre.
The suspect Brian BOBIER 31 years old of North Vancouver is presently facing charges of Aggravated Assault that is alleged to have occurred in North Bay in 2006.
It is further alleged that the suspect was involved in a fight with another male in which the victim lost sight in one eye.
He is being held for trial.
