Ferguson St. woman charged with assault with a weapon

On the 7th of May at approximately 2 AM it’s alleged that an argument ensued between a man and woman within a North Bay residence.

The argument escalated to the point where the female threw a beer mug at the male. This resulted in the victim receiving a cut to his ear.

The assailant then left the scene. Csts. Dan Shepstone and Paul Trahan of the North Bay Police responded and arrested a suspect nearby.

Meghan PENASSE 20 years old of Ferguson St. is charged with Assault With a Weapon and remains in custody for a bail hearing.
